Your smile touches almost every part of your life, affecting everything from your self-confidence to your ability to sleep comfortably at night. Crooked, gapped, or misaligned teeth can be an aesthetic issue, but they can also affect your oral hygiene and overall health. In the past, patients in need of orthodontic treatment have avoided it, not wanting to go through the process of metal brackets and wire braces or pay the price for invisible aligner trays. Luckily, Dr. Mark Cruz offers the alternative, state-of-the-art Myobrace appliance at his office in Dana Point, CA.
Myobrace is a preventative technology that can achieve the same results as traditional orthodontic processes but can be more comfortable and convenient for patients. By helping encourage natural, aligned growth, your Myobrace will help you avoid the need for braces or aligners.
Myobrace therapy is what’s known as a preventive, pre-orthodontic procedure. It’s gentle, comfortable, and approved for use with all ages of patients, helping prevent crooked teeth without the need for traditional orthodontics.
The Myobrace is a unique, custom-made appliance worn by the patient that encourages your teeth’ natural growth, preventing alignment issues before they start. It’s not a permanent appliance that is worn at your convenience and comfort at night. Not only can the Myobrace help keep your teeth from becoming misaligned, but the appliance’s nighttime use can reduce bruxism and lead to a better night’s sleep.
