The first thing most people notice about you is your smile. Cosmetic dentistry is the latest trend in the science of dentistry. It offers a selection of advanced techniques to create the smile of your dreams!
Cosmetic dentistry is in very high demand today. And thanks to some extent of aggressive marketing, there is some misunderstanding between cosmetic dentistry and aesthetic dentistry. The former is associated with something that is temporary, similar to cosmetics due to its temporary nature. Aesthetic dentistry, on the other hand, is more permanent. It is a technique that uses the most durable material to harmonize with the individual’s facial appearance. Today, cosmetic dentistry has become a specialty within dentistry focusing on beautifying one’s teeth. This process however, requires many changes beneath the surface in order to alter the look of one’s smile.
This latest technology will not only create a beautiful and attractive smile but also has associated health benefits. Your teeth will not only look beautiful but will function efficiently, as well.

This process involves the changing of teeth all the way from composite resins to porcelain veneers and dental crowns. It’s a combination of the dentist’s ability to integrate your personal opinion of what is important and what he or she considers necessary to be aesthetically pleasing. An understanding between dentist and patient allows time for adjustment to make sure the proposed smile is also compatible with gum health, speech and biting function. Designing a smile through dental techniques allows the cosmetic dentist to work in partnership with the patient in order to produce a new smile.
